About the event
Join us for our first annual Donation Drive! We will be accepting non-perishable food donations as well as personal care items such as:
- Soap
- Deodorant
- Toothpaste
- Shampoo
- Conditioner
- Razors
- Feminine hygiene products
- Disposable diapers in all sizes
Unfortunately, we will NOT be accepting clothing, shoes, or apparel.
We will accept donations from Tuesday, September 5th, every weekday from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. The last day to donate will be Saturday, September 30th, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. All donations will be taken to The Pantry at 4256 N Ridgeway that following Monday.
If you want to do more, "The Pantry" relies on weekly volunteers to serve their clients. Some volunteer positions that are needed involve interviewing clients, translating, filling bags of food, and helping with special events and fundraising, to name a few.
We hope you're able to join our Donation Drive. We look forward to building a community, one dance at a time, and acts of charity such as this one. I appreciate any help you can provide.
